About Children's Mercy Northland
Since opening its doors in 2003, Children’s Mercy Northland has responded to the region’s tremendous growth as young families continue to move into the area. For 15 years, the need for convenient urgent care and specialty pediatric services has been clearly demonstrated and expansion continues to ensure that children and families in the region are provided the highest level of care.
What began as a 10,000 square foot facility with Urgent Care and four specialties, has now grown to 40,000 square feet and 25 specialties serving more than 65,000 patient visits a year. The need for enhanced services continues to increase to meet diverse health-care needs, such as the nationally- recognized Children's Mercy Tourette's Syndrome Center of Excellence, one of few such clinics in the nation, located at Children’s Mercy Northland.
